What is the Issue?
As you may know, the country has been grappling with challenges in the energy sector, particularly in electricity. These challenges can be categorized into three main areas: the imbalance in energy (electricity) production, the low cost of electricity sales, and the lack of technical infrastructure for real-time monitoring of consumption. Given the high financial and time costs associated with addressing these issues, the most accessible solution lies in promoting energy (electricity) conservation and management.
In addressing this issue, there are two main approaches: Peak Shaving (shifting electricity consumption from peak demand times to off-peak or low-demand periods) and Energy Management (reduction, conservation, and optimization of electricity use).
What is the Role of MCI in This Process?
MCI (Hamrah-e-Aval), leveraging its communication, advertising, technical, and analytical infrastructure, along with its specialized and expert workforce, can play a significant role in addressing the issue of electricity consumption management and peak shaving. By utilizing big data from electricity distribution companies, Tavanir, and operational data, MCI can contribute meaningfully to the solution.
